“Within the spring of 2023, we visited Newfoundland hoping to {photograph} icebergs. We made our means up the northern peninsula to Saint Anthony Bight, a neighborhood of about 120 folks. The afternoon of our arrival, we have been on the water together with different passengers heading out to sea to stand up fairly near a lot of icebergs slowly drifting south. There’s something magical about these nature-made sculptures with their distinctive shapes, various sizes, magnificent blue colors, darkish traces, and textures that vary from craggy to easy and polished.”

“After arriving late to the harbour of Tobermory and taking the ferry to Fathom 5 Nationwide Marine Park’s Flowerpot Island, I used to be lucky sufficient to have a serene half hour nearly fully alone wandering the pathways and shoreline of this Ontarian oasis. I ended my day sitting on the rocky shores of the island, because the late afternoon solar shone instantly on one of many island’s iconic ‘Flowerpot’ sea-stacks.”

Waterton Wildflowers, Alberta

“Considered one of Waterton Nationwide Park’s sights is its wildflowers within the late spring and early summer season, with an annual pageant to showcase their abundance and sweetness towards the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains. Sadly, a number of years in the past, there have been devastating forest fires within the space that impacted many areas and destroyed the guests’ centre. Fortunately the city and the long-lasting Prince of Wales Resort have been saved, and the bison on the sting of the Park have been moved. Listening to that the wildflowers have been certainly again the next season, a fellow photographer and I drove down in July to see for ourselves.”
“The scene we stumbled on was really overwhelming! With out the presence of bison, all the Bison Paddock was carpeted with wildflowers of pinks, purples, reds, yellows, blues and whites. I used to be drawn to this specific scene due to the clumps of yellow daisies among the many purple lupins, drawing my eye to the street and into the mountains within the background.”
