Barrie, ON (Oct. 1, 2025) – Prepare for barks, brews, and a howlin’ good time at Barrie Pet-Oberfest, a FUN-draising occasion introduced by Barrie Subaru going down on Saturday, Oct. 4 at Sunnidale Park to assist animals in want.
Hosted by the Ontario SPCA Barrie Animal Centre, Pet-Oberfest runs from 11 a.m. to three p.m. Get pleasure from a brew on the Bark Bar, introduced by Brud Bar, try the Mutt Market vendor market, introduced by Brad’s Tree Service, or bid on gadgets on the “pawction,” introduced by International Pet Meals. Deliver your canine friends for a canine costume contest, or strive your paw on the Paw-lympics, that includes K9 video games and the last word woof warrior impediment course. For canines who like to smell (we’re taking a look at you, beagles!), strive the scent den, the place canines get an opportunity to search out three hidden scents and earn a deal with. There may also be meals distributors on the occasion that can make you and your canine drool, together with Barking Brew’s Brews & Chews, providing dog-friendly beer and canine treats.
“Pet-Oberfest is an opportunity for the group to come back collectively, have a good time our love of animals, and make an actual distinction for furry mates who want us,” says Meghan Coish, Occasions Coordinator with the Ontario SPCA Barrie Animal Centre. “It’s going to be a day stuffed with enjoyable, laughter, and wagging tails.”
Proceeds from Pet-Oberfest help the Ontario SPCA Barrie Animal Centre. As a registered charity that doesn’t obtain annual authorities funding, the Ontario SPCA depends upon the generosity of donors to supply care and shelter to animals in want.
